Hogwarts re-opened a few years ago for the first time in 30 years, after having been extensively renovated. Needless to say, much has changed since then, but life goes on. Students buy their robes, books and stationery from Diagon Alley, and the first years are ushered across the lake in boats. Their pale young faces show excitement and a little fearful. They study classes, sleep in their dormitories, and dine as a house at the long laden tables in the Great Hall. Life is settled, and good. Of course, life is never perfect, and never perfectly safe. The world thought their problems were over; no more Death Eaters; no more need for the Order; they thought the world was at peace, but oh how they were wrong. Under the dark waters that have been still for 30 years something sends a ripple to the surface.
